ABOUT TRAIL WARS
- Fun, structured walks that allow your dog to explore new environments
- Focus on leash manners and engaging your dog during the walk
- Tips for trail safety, dealing with distractions, and building confidence
- Bonding time with your dog in a relaxed, natural environment
- Dogs must be at up-to-date on vaccinations, and able to walk on a leash
- Only dogs that are not leash reactive will be allowed in this class to ensure a positive and safe learning environment for all participants.
- Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes for participants
- Water, food reinforcers and waste bags for your dog
- Positive attitude and readiness to explore the outdoors!
By the end of this 6-week course, your dog will have a stronger bond with you, improved walking skills, and more confidence on different terrains, all while having a great time outdoors. Let’s hit the trails!

Trail Wars: The Leash Awakens
- Duration: 6 weeks of weekly walks (1 hour per session) April 12, 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17
- Cost: $150 per dog for 6 weeks ($30 per class for drop ins)
- Location: Various local parks, chosen for their dog-friendly trails
- Level: Open to all dogs (puppies to seniors) with basic leash skills.
- Group Size: Small groups for individual attention
ABOUT PUPPY MANNERS
Start your puppy out with training as soon as possible. This class addresses common behavioral issues such as: crate training, potty training, jumping, demand barking, while promoting responsible pet ownership. This course focuses on: impulse control/focus, leash walking, polite guest greetings, no jumping, come when called, stay, place and “leave it”. The AKC STAR puppy test will be given at the end of the class for dogs who have attended all 6 weeks. Rescue/shelter puppies are eligible to take the AKC STAR puppy test.
Puppies must have age-appropriate vaccinations and a clean fecal completed within the past 6 months before starting class.

What to Expect:
- Duration: The class meets once a week for six weeks (on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 PM), starting Tuesday, April 29, and ending Tuesday, June 3rd
- Cost: $150 for the class

- Level: For puppies from 8 weeks to 6 months
